I've already spoken to matchmakers, program directors, etc. but want to hear another side of the story -- from young couples/singles themselves.

I'd love to hear from you!
Shidduch.Journalist@gmail.comHomo economicushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11699481101601139244noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10890885.post-1127631646472641192005-09-25T03:00:00.000-04:002005-09-25T03:00:00.000-04:00great bloggreat blogEditorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12953020477427374440noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10890885.post-1125806532585591642005-09-04T00:02:00.000-04:002005-09-04T00:02:00.000-04:00"Modern Orthodox and "Chasidic" mean many differen..."Modern Orthodox and "Chasidic" mean many different things to different people. What makes you Chassidic rather than Ultra Orthodox? Boxing yourself (or others) in, is restricting and often meaningless - its all relative.
Good luck with the shidduch.Karlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02826622177233601479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10890885.post-1125679921221992652005-09-02T12:52:00.000-04:002005-09-02T12:52:00.000-04:00I've been thinking about it, and the more I do, th...I've been thinking about it, and the more I do, the more I'm starting to think that its a good idea.Zoe Strickmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07940789852735669214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10890885.post-1125666588121495382005-09-02T09:09:00.000-04:002005-09-02T09:09:00.000-04:00but you know what?? I feel that what they think I need and what I actually need are not necessarily the same thing, and while I can't lie to them, they don't want to see the regular guy that is standing in front of them. I am frum, I am Chassidic, I am Lubavich, but I am secular and along with that come certain sins and belief systems that have never and might never go away.
I think with these statements you've made here, you've hit the nail on the head. Though they have their best interests at heart, they can't really know what is best for you because they are NOT you. Not that you are looking for advice, but I think you and this girl should give this a chance. If she really digs you, she may be willing to accept a more religious lifestyle herself!Rowanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01446435491941733971noreply@blogger.com
