I don't know how it happened. Two exams, one hour of sleep. First exam. Chinese Law. One essay on the conflict of laws. The question required us to see that a higher law and a lower municipal law was in conflict, and then to resolve the conflict as a judge would using the Chinese legal system. I was floored that I knew the answer. Second exam. Foreign Direct Investments. Between the first exam and the second, I started reading the teacher's notes on the topics, mind mapping them, and then merging the mind maps with the notes I took in class. The questions were on the topics for which I did the readings and for which I took good notes in class. I answered the questions in the time allotted.
My eyes are closing on me and it is 5:30pm. I could muster the strength and plow through studying for my next exam and then crash around one or two in the morning. Or, I could sleep for a few hours, wake up tonight and study through the night. My tailored suits are being delivered to my hotel room between nine and ten tonight, so perhaps that would be a good time to wake up. Four hours of sleep. I better make it a good, deep nap. Two more exams to go. I see that I might make it through this.

I wouldn't trade places with you for all the money in the world. I hated college. I'm glad you aren't being (like me)stubborn and trying to stay up without sleeping at all. Yay for naps. Take care of that brain of yours yeah?
I do this only once, right? :) If staying up all night will help me kick butt on my World IP Law exam tomorrow which will get me *2* extra credits that I won't have to take in the fall or spring semester, then it is SO worth it!
Sleep is mandatory. You think MUCH better with a good night's sleep. Most people need, lulei demistafina, eight hours. Some less. Don't neglect the sleep, man. It's more important than the studying.
It's 1am now in China; I'm just about to get started (Since 10pm, tailors came over to hotel room with suits, and then I organized all the duplicates of files I had for my exam tomorrow and the one the day after.) Now that all my notes are organized, I will start studying. The goal is to get as much done before I get tired. If I get tired, I'll take another power nap before the exam. Either way, I am hitting the bed (head first) as soon as my exam is over. I could use the excuse that perhaps I'm adjusting to US time, but that would be lying. You're right; I am abusing my body by not allowing it to sleep. Its a calculated risk for a good benefit. Of course, were I more organized, this could have been avoided.
